What
do you do if the bone is exposed? We
do NOT shorten it; the tissue will grow over it.

if the bone is cut off during the injury but saved?
If
it is replanted, without soft tissue, the amount of length maintained is 1 cm
as of 8/1/07.
Is
there much pain with the healing?
The
treatment method reduces pain to a 1 or 2 out of 10.
How long will I be off work?
Depending on your job, anywhere from 4 days to 4 weeks.
Can
I get my finger(s) wet during the healing process?
No.

Feeling
is the same as the surrounding fingers.

the finger(s) be stiff afterwards?

injury.
Will
I have a fingerprint?
Fingerprint
is present, but we do not have a way of determining whether it is the same as
it was prior to the injury.
Will
my finger(s) look like a normal finger(s)?
It
