Caring For My Patients Comes First
What do YOU
And STARFISH
Have IN COMMON?

You have more in common with starfish (& salamanders, too!) than you might think!
  • Starfish can regrow an arm
  • Salamanders can regrow tales
  • AND YOU CAN REGROW YOUR FINGER(S)!
After years of research and working with patients to find out what works best, we have found a system which helps YOU regrow your finger(s)!

Let me introduce myself...

My name is Thomas Becker and I am a board certified orthopedic surgeon who has been in practice since 1986 and have devoted much of my time to the practice of hand surgery.

Why my focus on digit (finger) regeneration?

It has always been my goal to give my patients the best possible outcome.
I have been disappointed with the results of procedures devoted to the treatment of digital injuries and tip amputations.  The loss of sensation, neuroma formation, shorter finger and infections has led me to seek alternative methods to treat these conditions.

How Regen-It Came to be...

Over the past several years, I have been working on an ever-changing technique to produce as near normal a finger as possible following a tip amputation.  In the past year I have developed a kit (patent pending) that allows doctors, other than myself, to reproduce the results that I have been able to achieve.

Results!

As of this date, we have treated over 150 fingertip amputations with increasing normalcy as the technique has developed.  We are now able to restore all soft tissue components.  Our only hurdle is bone restoration.

This technique is showing significant promise for tissue regeneration in non-replantable digit amputations by maintaining the length at or distal to the injury without the need of a skin graft.  Patients treated via this method have demonstrated return of near normal sensation without the development of a neuroma and with application of a specialized protective dressing, they are afforded an early return to work.

My Hope...

My hope is that you will find information helpful to you or someone you know when faced with making an informed choice for your health care concerning finger tip amputation.

To my colleagues, I hope you will see the benefit, as I have, of this technique for regenerating tissue growth in finger tip amputations and make this technique your own by learning this process.
